The DAP Pricing Philosophy
You are not charging for posts.
You are charging for direction, consistency, and growth.
Every price point reflects the strategy behind the work — not just the deliverables. Clients who understand that stay. Clients who don't aren't the right clients.

$350 — Standard (once 1 case study exists)
$500 — Established (2+ case studies with data)
⚠ Never offer the $200 rate twice to the same client. After the Kickstart — they move into a monthly retainer. The entry price is a one-time investment, not a permanent rate.

Established businesses ready for aggressive growth across all platforms. Clients with marketing budgets and clear revenue goals tied to their content strategy.

03
Pricing Mindset — Avoid These
Underpricing out of fearYour price signals your value. A low price doesn't attract grateful clients — it attracts clients who don't respect the work.
Offering too much too earlyScope creep starts before the contract. Define what's included clearly and stick to it. Everything extra is a conversation about pricing.
Saying yes to every clientA bad client costs more than no client. Use the intake system to filter. The 2/3 rule exists for this reason.
Not collecting payment upfrontWork doesn't start until payment is received. No exceptions. This is not negotiable — it protects your time and sets a professional standard.
Add-On Services

Add-ons are how DAP increases revenue per client without adding clients. Present them naturally during the retention conversation or when a specific need comes up — not as a menu to browse. The right add-on for the right client at the right time feels like a solution, not an upsell.

One-Time
Important — Ad Spend Clarification

DAP charges for strategy and management of paid advertising. The client is always responsible for funding the ad budget directly through the platform (Meta, Google, etc.). DAP never handles client ad spend money. This must be made clear before any advertising work begins and is explicitly stated in the contract.

How to Present Pricing and Close

The goal of the close is not to present all options and let them choose. It's to make one clear recommendation based on what they told you — and then stop talking. The client should feel like they're being guided by an expert, not browsing a menu.

01
The DAP Close — Step by Step
1
Connect Back to the Driver
"Based on what you shared — the biggest opportunity for your business is [core driver]. That's what your customers are actually deciding based on."
Reference something specific from their intake form or the call. Generic closes lose deals. Specific closes win them.
2
Make the Single Recommendation
"Here's where I'd suggest starting. Every client I work with begins with the 30-Day Kickstart. It's how we learn your business, prove what's working, and build the foundation everything else runs on. After 30 days we look at the data together and figure out the right next step."
Present the Kickstart first — always. It's the lowest-risk entry point and the highest-trust builder. Once they're in — the retainer conversation is warm, not cold.
3
State the Price Simply
"The Kickstart is [price]. That covers everything for the full 30 days — strategy, content, execution, and the full results report at the end."
Say the number plainly. Don't apologize for it. Don't over-explain it. Confidence in your price signals confidence in your work.
4
Ask the Question — Then Stop
"Does that sound like a good place to start?"
Stop talking after this. The next person who speaks should be them. Silence after a close feels uncomfortable — resist the urge to fill it. Filling the silence is the fastest way to talk yourself out of a yes.
5
If They Say Yes
"Great. I'll send over the agreement and a payment link today. Once that's taken care of we'll book our kickoff call and get started."
Move quickly. Send the contract within the hour. Strike while the momentum is real. Deals that wait 48 hours to get papered often don't close.
6
If They Need to Think About It
"Of course — take the time you need. I'll follow up in a couple of days. In the meantime if any questions come up just reach out directly."
Don't pressure. Don't discount. Don't add extras to sweeten the deal. A client who needs to be pressured into starting will be difficult throughout. Trust the process.
02
Framing the Value — What to Say
❌ Don't Say
"Here's my pricing..."
"We can do posts for you..."
"This is what I charge..."
"It's not that expensive..."
✅ Say This Instead
"Based on what you told me..."
"Here's what I'd recommend..."
"This is the investment..."
"The goal is [their driver]..."

This contract protects both parties. Fill in the client details, agree on the service tier and price, and send it before any work begins. Work does not start until the contract is signed and payment is received.

Service Agreement
Client Name
Business Name
Start Date
01
Services

DAP Creative Co. agrees to provide marketing and creative services as outlined below. Specific deliverables are agreed upon prior to work beginning and may include any combination of the following:

Content strategy and creation · Social media management · CB Strategy execution · Performance reporting · Outreach and partnership coordination · Paid advertising management · Brand strategy and consulting

Selected Service:

Note: Any services not explicitly listed above are not included in this agreement. Additional services are available as add-ons and will be priced separately before work begins.
02
Payment

Client agrees to pay the following rate for services rendered:

Payment Terms:

Full payment is due upfront before work begins. For monthly retainers, payment is due on the same date each month. Work does not commence until payment is confirmed.

Late or missed payments will result in immediate pause of all services. DAP Creative Co. reserves the right to withhold deliverables until outstanding balances are cleared.

Ad Spend: For clients receiving paid advertising management, the client is solely responsible for funding advertising budgets directly through the platform (Meta, Google, etc.). DAP Creative Co. manages strategy and execution only and does not handle client advertising funds under any circumstances.
03
Term & Cancellation

This agreement is month-to-month unless otherwise specified in writing. Either party may cancel this agreement with 30 days written notice.

The 30-Day Kickstart is a fixed-term engagement and is not subject to early cancellation. Monthly retainers require 30 days notice before cancellation takes effect. The final month's retainer is due in full regardless of the cancellation date within that period.
Why 30 days: This protects both parties. It gives the client time to transition and gives DAP time to properly close out the engagement — including final reporting and handoff of all assets.
04
Results & Guarantee

DAP Creative Co. applies professional strategy, creativity, and best practices to every engagement. While we are fully invested in your success, specific results such as follower counts, sales figures, or viral reach cannot be guaranteed as they are influenced by factors outside our control including platform algorithms, market conditions, and audience behavior.

DAP's Commitment: If at the conclusion of the agreed engagement period the client feels that the work did not meet the agreed-upon deliverables — DAP Creative Co. will extend the engagement at no additional cost until those deliverables are met. This is our commitment to the work, not a money-back guarantee.
What this means: We stand behind what we deliver. If we said we'd do something and we didn't — we make it right. If the results weren't what you hoped but the deliverables were met — that's a strategy conversation, not a refund conversation.
05
Revisions

Each deliverable includes 2 rounds of revisions at no additional cost. A revision is defined as minor adjustments to existing content — changes in direction, complete rewrites, or new concepts are considered new deliverables.

Additional revisions beyond the 2 included rounds are billed at $50 per hour, invoiced separately and due before revised work is delivered.
Why this matters: Unlimited revisions are not sustainable for either party. Clear revision limits keep the project moving, protect your budget, and ensure DAP can give every client the attention they deserve.
06
Content Approval

DAP Creative Co. will submit content for client review prior to scheduled posting dates. Client agrees to review and provide feedback within 48 hours of submission.

If no response is received within 48 hours, DAP Creative Co. will proceed with posting the content as submitted. Silence after the 48-hour window is treated as approval.

Client agrees to provide timely access to brand materials, login credentials, and any information necessary for content creation. Delays caused by the client's failure to provide materials do not extend deadlines or reduce the monthly retainer.

Why this matters: Content calendars run on schedules. A 48-hour approval window keeps the strategy on track and ensures consistency — which is one of the most important factors in social media growth.
07
Client Responsiveness

DAP Creative Co. requires reasonable client communication to execute the agreed services effectively.

If the client becomes unresponsive for 14 consecutive calendar days without prior notice, DAP Creative Co. reserves the right to pause active services. The monthly retainer remains due in full regardless of the pause. Services resume once communication is restored.
Why this matters: Effective marketing requires collaboration. If we can't reach you, we can't do our best work — and you still deserve to be charged fairly for the time we've already invested.
08
Content Ownership & Portfolio Rights

All final content created by DAP Creative Co. for the client becomes the property of the client upon receipt of full payment for that deliverable.

DAP Creative Co. retains the right to display work completed for this client in its portfolio, case studies, and marketing materials unless the client requests in writing that specific work be kept confidential. This right exists regardless of whether the client relationship continues.

Any pre-existing intellectual property belonging to the client (logos, brand assets, photos) remains the property of the client and is not claimed by DAP Creative Co. in any form.

09
Communication

DAP Creative Co. will maintain regular communication throughout the engagement including content submissions, performance updates, and strategy check-ins as outlined in the selected service tier.

Primary communication channel: Email ([email protected]) unless otherwise agreed. Urgent matters may be communicated via phone or text by mutual agreement.

DAP Creative Co. is available during standard business hours Monday through Friday. Response time for non-urgent communication is within 24–48 business hours.

🔒
Payment upfront protects your time
No exceptions to the payment-before-work rule. A client who won't pay upfront is showing you exactly who they'll be as a client.
📅
30-day notice protects your income
A client who cancels mid-month still owes the full month. 30-day notice gives you time to replace the revenue.
✏️
Revision limits protect your hours
Two rounds is professional and reasonable. Clients who push for unlimited revisions often don't know what they want. The limit forces clarity.
📂
Portfolio rights protect your reputation
Your work is your calling card. Every piece of content you create should be available to show future clients unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
